# What is a general poll?
A general poll is a poll open to any voter. Voters are tracked by IP address.
# What is a targeted poll?
A targeted poll is a poll open only to a selection of voters. To make a targeted poll, you must make a data sheet and select it upon poll creation.
# How long does a poll stay open?
As long as you want it to! You can pick both the start and end dates.

# What type of data must I provide?
We currently accept tab-separated values (TSV) and comma-separated values (CSV) formatted data and are looking into other forms.
# How can I make CSV or TSV data?
The easiest method is to use a program, such as Excel or Google Drive, to convert your tabular data into an appropriate format.
# How many data sheets can I create?
As many as you'd like, within reason. Our system currently has a soft cap in place. As long as you aren't abusing the tool, you'll never even notice.
